These terms cover tickets bought from mtskate.com and bookings for private parties. By buying a ticket you agree to them.
1. The booking
Bookings are confirmed only once payment has been taken and you've received an email with a QR-coded ticket. If you don't see the email, check spam, then contact info@mtskate.com.
2. Entry
- Show your QR ticket on a phone or printout at the door — we scan it on arrival.
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults may skate or watch from the side.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who appears intoxicated, behaves dangerously, or shows up after the cut-off time (usually 30 minutes after doors).
3. Skates & safety
- Wrist guards are recommended; you may bring your own protective gear.
- Skate hire is available at the door (subject to availability). Sizes UK J9 to 12.
- The rink is a school sports hall — outdoor wheels and street shoes are not permitted on the floor.
4. Pricing & payment
Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at the point of purchase via Stripe.
5. Refunds & transfers
See our refund policy.
6. Cancellations by us
If we cancel an event (e.g. venue closure, weather, force majeure) we'll refund all tickets within 14 days or, at your option, transfer them to a future event.
7. Photography
We take photos and short videos at events for marketing and the website gallery. If you'd prefer to opt out, tell us at the door and we'll do our best — but in a wide-angle crowd shot we can't guarantee total exclusion. We will never publish identifying images of children without prior parental consent.
8. Wheel prizes & promo codes
Codes won via the weekly spin wheel are single-use, non-transferable, and expire after 60 days. The wheel is for entertainment; we reserve the right to void prizes obtained through bot activity or multiple accounts.
9. Lost property
We hold lost property for 14 days after each event. Email info@mtskate.com with a description.
10. Liability
Skating carries inherent risk of falls and minor injury. By booking you accept this risk. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for personal injury caused by our negligence.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
