MTSKATE (“we”, “us”) runs roller discos and birthday parties at Bay House School Sports Centre, Gosport. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
MTSKATE is a small family-run business based in Hampshire, UK. The data controller for this website is MTSKATE. You can reach us at info@mtskate.com.
What we collect
- Account & booking data: name, email, phone (optional), postcode (optional), date of birth (optional).
- Order data: the events you've booked, ticket numbers, attendance records.
- Marketing preferences: whether you've opted in to our newsletter.
- Site analytics: aggregate, anonymised data on how the site is used (pages visited, device type).
- Payment data: handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
How we use it
- To process your bookings and issue tickets (lawful basis: contract).
- To send transactional emails — booking confirmations, event reminders, post-event reviews (lawful basis: legitimate interest).
- To send marketing emails about upcoming events and offers — only if you opt in (lawful basis: consent). One-tap unsubscribe in every email.
- To run the loyalty stamp card and weekly spin wheel.
- To safeguard children at events — we keep attendance records and, if requested, a list of authorised collection contacts.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of trusted processors:
- Stripe — UK card payments.
- Supabase — database and account auth.
- Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery.
- Vercel — website hosting.
We never sell your data. We never share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
- Booking and order records: 6 years (UK statutory finance requirement).
- Marketing list entries: until you unsubscribe, or after 24 months of inactivity.
- Site analytics: aggregated only, no personal identifiers.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request: access to the data we hold on you, correction of anything wrong, deletion of your account, restriction of processing, or to take your data elsewhere. Email info@mtskate.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
